Magazines and Online Publications Who Want Your Short Stories!

Hello all!

As a self-published author, I understand the struggles of earning credibility and being recognized. After you publish your book, you are left to market and promote your novel, as well as conduct a lot of research.

But there are more ways to promote your knack for writing! In this post, I will discuss more ways to become a seasoned writer and get your name out there in the world with the use of magazines and online publications!

While receiving payment for your work can be gratifying, all writers who are serious about their craft want recognition for their hard work as well as build an audience for their future projects! With these magazines and online publications, you can do just that!

Flash Fiction Online

At Flash Fiction Online you can submit new or reprinted stories for them to publish. But if the story you want to submit is in the “reprint” category, then your pay is then minimized to $0.02 (two-cents) per word.

The formatting guideline is also very important for authors to follow! The publication asks that the author uses “Times New Roman” font, in a standard manuscript format with any and all author information completely erased. Also, make sure you send in a cover letter with your short story! Properly writing a cover letter for a short story is imperative for consideration!

Make sure to read all submission guidelines before submitting your work!
